Charlotte Area Representative of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan

Corey Muhammad is the Charlotte Area Representative of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and Student Minister of Muhammad Mosque No. 36. Corey is a native Charlottean and has been a registered member of the Nation of Islam for over 30 years. He’s a husband, father, and grandfather. He was an assistant minister for many years before being asked to serve as Mosque 36 Minister in April 2013. Corey has represented the teachings during various radio interviews, TV interviews, and has spoken in college classrooms and campuses.

He has over 21 years experience in training and developing people and has been self-employed for the last 20 years.

Corey is active outside of the mosque setting, is visible in the community and knows the importance of friendships in all walks of life. He serves as a founding board member of the Mecklenburg Council of Elders which is a 501c3 that consists of multiple organizations that conduct “Know Your Rights” seminars, expungement clinics for all ages, and more. Corey also serves as a Chair for the Greater Charlotte Area Local Organizing Committee (LOC), which helped to organize busloads of Charlotteans to attend the 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March on October 10th, 2015. The LOC’s has been instrumental in working to develop the nine ministries as well as conflict resolution training and mediation in conjunction with the Charlotte Area PeaceKeepers.

Corey is a dedicated life-long student and is passionate about helping others help themselves with the life-giving teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad.
